Neural Assembly
A Living starship technology that is required for the starship's landing and lift-off.
Pulsing Heart
Part of the ship's propulsion system which powers all in-system flight, including travel between planets or moons within the same star system.
Singularity Cortex
By default, each warp between star systems consumes 20% of the Singularity Cortex's fuel supply.
101 ly
The Living starship's faster-than-light propulsion drive to aid players travel across galaxies.
Scream Suppressor
The standard means of protecting a Living starship against enemy fire (no collision damage from space objects like asteroids or space stations)
Grafted Eyes
One of the primary Living starship weapons, and is an alternative to the more common Spewing Vents. Both can be used to mine asteroids in space, which hold valuable resources.
Neural Shielding
Blocks probes.
+1ly Hyperdrive Range.
A beautiful living weave of nanotubes, laced through the vessel's neural assembly. This structure can be energised as the ship deems fit, creating a field that blocks hostile cargo probes.
Use the Quick Menu () while a scan is in progress to ask that the ship might block the scan.
Chloroplast Membrane
Auto-Recharges Neural Assembly
An infusion of cyanobacteria fills the membrane, which rests just beneath the ship's translucent dermal layer.
The membrane will recharge the Neural Assembly automatically when exposed to sunlight.
Wormhole Brain
Shows Economy & Combat Info
A pre-grown bionic implant, designed to facilitate the fusion of bio-technology to sentient starships.
The wormhole brain permits the ship vision of systems far beyond its own experience. It consists of strands of neural matter, wrapped around a micro-singularity and tethered directly to the ship's visual cortex.
Detailed economic and conflict data will become available on the Galaxy Map.
