Every creature, plant or rock you discover can be renamed and uploaded. You may also rename your Base, Multi-Tool and Starship.

Uploading shares your discovery with other Travellers. Any traveller who finds that object will see you as the original finder. Uploading rewards you with Nanites.

Discover creatures, plants and rocks with the Analysis Visor. Enter visor mode with [Key F]. Analyse your targets with the scanner.

Systems and Planets are discovered automatically when visited.

Track, rename and upload your discoveries from the Discoveries Page of the Options Menu.
