FARM
A collection of plants & perhaps animals too.
MINE
An industrial set-up on a resource hotspot (not deposit) that forever continuously collects resources for you to take at your leisure.
FREIGHTER
The massive space vessel that you can park your 6 ships in; build a base of 21 x 21 rooms x 16 floors & send out expeditions from.
FRIGATES
Medium sized vessels that you can land your ship on & can send out on lucrative expeditions.
NEXUS
The cube that gives missions, which can be done in a team of up to 4.
TELEPORTER
Takes you to any base in any galaxy; or any visited space station in current galaxy.
SYSTEM
A collection of planets & moons orbiting a star.
WARP
Going to another Star System
ANOMALY
The teleporting, pocket dimension, space station filled with NPCs & players.
PORTAL
Requires collection of glyph symbol blueprints & repair of glyph buttons to operate.
Takes you to specific coordinates in current galaxy only.
GALAXY
A collection of Star Systems spinning around in space around a supermassive black hole.
PULSE DRIVE
Travelling through one Star System
LIVING SHIP
A living starship that you earn through the long 'Starbirth' story quest, after buying a Void Egg from the Quicksilver Merchant on the Space Anomaly.
ORGANIC FRIGATE
A larger ship that functions much like the frigates in your fleet. Obtained via Space Encounters after encountering the first by building the Dream Aerial, a possible reward from frigate expeditions.
When asking questions or answering them, use of the correct terminology is important. I have experienced no end of people who were deeply annoyed that they couldn't do something, or figure something out, because either they or someone else had used the wrong terminology, resulting in confusion, anger & other paths to the dark side of the force.
